Not a long walk today,but I did have a day on the 28 day bootcamp and didn't want to over due it. I have added hand weights to my walk to increase the intensity of them. I want to try the 4 mile but am a little nervous. Maybe on 1 of my rest/cross train days from the bootcamp.

I didn't get much accomplished this week. (just too dang cold) After monday and my good start I got 1 short 1 mile work out in on Friday. Hope to do better this weekend.

Hi! sorry I havent been aroud, having some health issues and working a lot. so havent done any walking with leslie lately, but am still walking at work on breaks.

A big WOW to you that are doing so awesome and getting your walking done. Keep it up!

It has been a few days, I ended up with a stomach virus that wiped me out for a couple of days, but I am now better and back at it! emoticon

I did get up earlier today and was able to squeeze in the 1 mile with weights workout after my scheduled 28 day bootcamp.
I have no desire to go outside in the freezing cold today, but I am feeling great after my long workout

Did the 3 mile brisk walk this morning. Quite the workout, it really worked my legs. I feel great and my hubby was impressed.

I have set my alarm 15 minutes earlier. I would like to add the 1 mile walk to my 28 day bootcamp workout. Or at least that's the plan.

Writing it down did help to get me motivated and I did do the 2 mile brisk walk yesterday with no regrets. It's my rest day on the bootcamp so I may try the 3 today.

Yesterday I did another mile with weights and if I can get motivated I am going to try and do the 2 mile today. I have just re-started working out again and don't want to push myself too hard and put a damper on any progress I have made. I think this could be a good morning workout for me right now. I am also do Nicoles 28 Day Bootcamp.

good morning! was able to do 2 miles last night, I am working off a 4 mile dvd (4 fast miles) but havent attempted mile 3 yet as it is a 10 minute mile (one of them boosted miles) and I am pretty winded after mile 2. But I will get there, just takes time.

I also walked 2 miles at work, it feels good to get back to being active again!

glad to have you and great job on getting your first mile done! 200 is a good goal.

I have been doing my 1 mile a day again....looking forward to a full day off and I am going to do at least 2 or maybe 3 miles!

I know the month is 1/2 over,but I just got one of Leslies DVD's and did my 1st mile this morning. I would love to join your group/challenge if that's ok.

good morning! yesterday was busy and didnt get on the computer but I did get a mile done with leslie and a mile walked at work we have tunnels under our building and we have a mile route for us walkers to do when we work. I miss walking outside but this is well lit, no ice and I can walk faster than I can outside this time of the year...so it works

Hi! so have not been feeling the best over the last couple days so I havent been around. but today I am back to normal...mostly. I did do 1 miles with leslie today.

Tomorrow morning I am going to walk in the tunnels at work. then I will do 1 mile with leslie when I get home.

I felt like I needed a change in my exercising routing so I am kicking it up a notch but dropping my walking down to 1 mile, I am going to do the 1 mile walk strong with hand weights daily in the am and in the evenings I am going to do the 28 day bootcamp challenge with Coach Nicole. I have a goal of completing the 30 day shred challenge for February so the 28 day bootcamp will gear me up for the shred.

This morning I did the 1 mile walk strong with hand weights and day 1 of the 28 day bootcamp dvd.

I did the 2-mile "Belly Blasting" walk today. It's not one of my favorites ... but I like variety, so I do it every once in a while.

Hello! sounds like we have been getting some walking done! that is awesome, I did 2 miles with leslie today. my mom bought me a dvd (4 fast miles) and I did the first 2 miles on it...that was some fast walking!

going to do it again tomorrow, am going to work my way into all the miles eventually

Wow! I have been doing the walking off the pounds video with Leslie 2013 for about 2 weeks now I do 1 mile each morning and plan on moving up to 2 miles as soon as I get use to it. Sometimes its hard to make myself do it but I always feel so much better once I just do it! Glad I found this group and look forward to seeing everyones opinion.

I did the warm up + mile 1 + mile 3 of the Walk Slim: 5 Fast Miles DVD after work today. That's when I usually exercise. It's a good transition from work to home for me.

Did the Walk and Kick routine from Leslie Sansone this morning before heading to work. I am assuming it is a 2 mile routine as it talks just as long to do as the Walk Away the Pounds with weights (30-35 mins).

Good morning! I am happy so see so much participation here. I enjoy seeing the comments and what you are all accomplishing! I have been doing the 1 mile walk that is featured on the walk at home.com, it is a pretty fast pace and wakes me up in the morning! lol

So my mile with Leslie done for today, but going to try and work in a short walk or two at work today,

Good Morning! Great job Dena! 2 miles with Leslie can be really tough sometimes ( I am very out of shape so the one miles get me pretty breathless!)

I did do one mile this morning, I wanted to get it done before we head out on the road. I also did a toning video (I started the january jumpstart today). so I am feeling pleased with myself!

hello! Today I took a walk outdoors (just a short one) and this delayed my leslie walk. but I finally told myself to get busy. So I did get 1 mile done with Leslie today.

The next 3 days I will be pretty busy, I have to drive my son back to college (400 miles round trip) and then mon and tues I work 12 hour days. so my goal for these days is to do a mile a day.

Hope you are all doing fine and getting in some leslie time!

I'll join this challenge. It's nice to meet you all. emoticon

When I first started exercising 6 years ago, I started with a Leslie Sansone tape. Since then, I have developed a bit of a collection of her DVD's ... and also moved on to some more physically difficult DVD routines. But I still "walk with Leslie" at least once or twice per week. Hers are the ones I turn to as my basic foundation for fitness maintenance.

So ... given my 2 times per week pace ... I'll set my goal at 200 minutes for the 2013.

January = 5 miles
1/2 = 1 mile (Got interupted)
1/3 = 4 miles (Tried to make up for 1/3 light day)

Glad to see you both here! I used to be a leslie walker all the time but over the last couple of years I have strayed. so I am looking forward to doing this challenge and having others to be accountable too.

I have joined the mile a day challenge with Leslie Sansone. Today is day 4 for me, doing between 1-2 miles each day. Join in if you are interested.

so the total miles needed for this "mile a day", would be 365 miles if 1 mile is walked daily. I am going for 500 miles with Leslie this year. Every 100 miles I make; I will have a mini celebration and reward myself. I am so looking forward to the first reward!
