Hi I'm Dave and I'm back. Did well with sparks a few years ago but I've put it back on, plus! Since I was last here I quit smoking (5 years). I've retired 1.5 ago. I've also gained 90 lbs. Between 1May12 and 1Nov12 I lost 50 lbs. . Since 1Nov and today I've been a 10lb yoyo! My goal is to drop another 40 lbs to get under 200 and change my eating habbits for thr good. Last time I used sparks I found the meal tracker was my best friend and helper.

Welcome , you can do it. If you still haven't done it, I would suggest you register on the daily food tracker, that is what helps me most to control my daily food intakes. Of course, I cannot cheat myself when I do those food diares if I can call them that.

I'm a newer Sparkpeople member, have been reading the information and great recipes, bought the cookbook but haven't really started the journey. I"ve always been active and athletic but now finding it difficult to keep my weight in check. Need to lose 25 or 30 lbs. Looking to start today by adding more exercise time to my busy schedule and create a more healthier lifestyle all the way around. More exercise, vitamins and supplements,kettlebells workouts, better food choices, and keeping my goals in front of me.
