I would start by just tracking your caloric intake without changing your diet too much to see how many calories you are currently taking in. Without knowing that, it will be difficult to know what changes you need to make.

Yes, I have been Vegan for over a year now and was about 1 month before I started weight loss

Were you maintaining a Vegan lifestyle before you started working on weight loss? The reason I ask is that I would imagine if you weren't you probably have seriously reduced your calories just by making that change. It is still worth tracking your calories and nutrients, though.
