If my dog and my horse count as company, then kettlebells would be next. My dog runs/walks with me, and of course my horse is there if I'm riding! I don't really exercise with other people; prefer to do it on my own.

at our pool here, they have a lazy river during the day that the water pushes everyone one direction, so at night they close it to everyone and open the river to do a "river walk" and you walk that backwards against the flow of the water :)

Running/jogging, walking, biking, strength training, dvds... I generally prefer to exercise alone unless I'm rock climbing (because you need a belayer to do most climbs safely, unless you're crazy enough to free solo or lucky enough to have deep water solo climbs nearby).
I do all my exercise alone for the most part. Running/walking, fitness DVDs, etc. Even just putting some music on and dancing around like a fool while singing along off key (which, let's be honest, really probably only should be done alone).

Walking in my Kangoo Jumps, fun and almost doubles calories burned. I enjoy the being taller perspective too.
(I usually take a dog or two but do consider it solo.)
Strength training is my solo exercise. Walking is also nice.
There are no shortcuts. No magic bullets. No secret spells. What works is hard work, dedication, and a daily dose of chocolate.

I personally like walking/running. I like to put on my iPod with Zombies, Run! or listen to a podcast, and just go! I get to see new places, say hi to neighbors, get out in nature, and get some me-time. I prefer to get outside, too... walking on a treadmill's like pulling teeth. No thanks. LOL.
