I donot eat it anymore for health reasons, but I love homemade potato soup, with real butter, preferably from someone farm where it was homemade, along with homemade biscuits, and fat back meat yum yum, but alas and alack, I can even think about eating that way anymore emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

I really don't have winters in Jamaica but I enjoy my ham and dark rummy Christmas fruit cake and when I am in Toronto, I love my hot cider and turkey

Comfort Food of any kind!!
I experience seasonal depression and I just need comfort.
I love comfort food on those sunless, gloomy, cold winter days.

All of you who crave wintry foods in winter are so lucky!!

in winter I crave all the fruits and vegetables I CAN'T get in winter -- peaches, good tomatoes, corn on the cob, cherries, apricots, etc.

oatmeal. I love eating oatmeal as well as Farina (cream of wheat) in the winter. Do people still eat Cream of Wheat ? I ate it as a kid and had a craving for it. so, I picked up a box and have been eating it for breakfast. it's a little bland so I ate a bit of honey and cinnamon. When I was a kid, I heaped sugar into it. glad some things change !

Same as always. A big fat piece of chocolate cake with ooey gooey chocolate frosting. Or German chocolate with caramel coconut frosting. Holy crap. Now I'm craving.
