There's lots of mixer bread recipes on the web. I used the kitchen aid simple white bread to start, and then branched out from there. Don't forget pizza dough!
Also, we have the food mill/grinder attachment and LOVE it - we use it for falafel or other recipes that call for things to be processed. The pasta roller is good too, but takes a bit of practice before you get the knack of it.

Mr. Mashamoo says often that the mixer was one of the best investments he ever made. emoticon

Thanks for the response! I realized that the only things I ever used to use my mom's mixer for was dessert.... I think bread sound real good, as long as I can make it work! My kitchen skills are limited. Do you have a bread recipe you guys like most?

Ahh.. that's a nice gift! I have had one for about 10 years. I usually use it for making cakes. Sometimes hubby uses it for mashed potatoes or breads. Actually I am looking into getting the meat grinder attachment to make sure I know what is going into my ground meats.

Happy baking. Happy Easter.

Happy Friday, everyone!! My mother gave me a Kitchen Aid Stand-up mixer for Christmas and I still have not used it, as we started our healthy eatting for New Year's. I would normally use it to make cookies, but don't think that's the smartest decision for me right now! Anybody have any ideas for delicious foods that I can make to use my mixer??? I am no cook - my boyfriend is, but he doesn't like baking..... Low calorie cookies/brownies would be fine with me, but I want to know what everyone's favorites are!
