I am starting to look at barre routines (as in "ballet barre") to change up my exercise routine. They tend to be based on ballet, pilates, and yoga. You don't need a real ballet barre for them -- you can use a chair -- and they don't require a lot of space to move around in -- and don't involve jumping. So they are good for an apartment or condo.
I just bought a DVD called Total Body Balance (with Jessica Smith) that I like. It has four 20-minute routines on it. And I plan to try a couple more as I have put them on my upcoming birthday wish list. There is a SparkTeam for people who like barre routines. You can more recommendations there.

Try searching the "Befit" youtube channel before you buy to see if a certain type of workout you were interested in is on there, the exact workout might not be on there, but it could have samples that will be able to tell you if you'd enjoy the workout before you go buy it. Collage Video is also a great view (reviews and clips) before you buy work outs to add to your collection. I've bought so many on collage, it's seriously a great resource, I haven't wasted any more money on workouts I don't enjoy anymore, they have a return policy too!!
If you don't have any hand weights you can improvise using a can of veggies...yep! Hold a can in each hand like you would a hand weight...but this can be awkward to hold and it can cramp your hands. My suggestion is to go to WalMart and just pick up a set of 3 lb. hand weights, walking weights which are soft and easy to hold, or even get a pair of weighted gloves. The gloves are 3 lb total but are 1.5 pounds each. These products are not expensive at all, and the weighted gloves are also fabulous for any walking or exercise you like to do--I use them doing Turbo Jam and Shaun T Rockin' Body.

Turbo jam is great also, i used to play it before, but i lost the dvd U will feel amazing after finishing the workout

I've just finished week 5 of Turbo Jam with Chalene Johnson... it's fun and good for those of us who haven't done a whole lot of working out. Not sure how much weight I've lost, but I feel great and have been getting compliments over the last couple of weeks.

What about some that don't require equipment, like dumbbells and stuff? I looked at a preview of the Biggest Loser workouts on YouTube and they use weights, which I don't have access to at the time....
Jillian Michaels, Biggest Loser Cardio Max, Zumba, Hip Hop Abs, Rockin' Body are my favorite

I like Jillian Michaels dvds because their not too easy and their not too challenging. I like ripped in 30 and 30 day shred. I also rent the biggest loser workouts from my local library. I personally do not like leslie sansone's dvds but thats just my opinion. I feel like I could get a better workout if I just go outside and walk/jog instead of doing her videos.
I love The Hot Pants Workout with Dan Carter. The music is really good and the dances are fun. Dan Carter is proper gorgeous too. Well worth the sweat

I like The Biggest Loser's Bootcamp, Cardio Max, and Weight Loss Yoga. You can do the exercises with or without hand weights. I also have the Billy Blanks DVDs. But I enjoy the Biggest Loser DVD's better.
If you have internet access at home, check out YouTube. They have a town of workouts. Check out Be Fit in 90.

Billy Blanks dvds. I have 3. One is the Billy Blanks Taebo. The second one has 8 10 minute workouts and each one does something a little different. I like to do them as warmups or combine two or three of them together to form a longer workout. When I do that, I take a short break between each one. The third one is Taebo Abs. It says Abs but it is an excellent workout for the core.
