I am finding new old-favorites every day. I found an old aqua shirt I used to love after I bought it in the early 80's. It hadn't fit for years. I wore it yesterday and it fits perfectly again.

I'm a pack-rat and rarely rid myself of anything. Many of my very old clothes that I hadn't worn for decades fit perfectly a few months ago; now some are a little big ---I must be making progress.

I will be traveling to Brazil later this year. I'm waiting to buy new clothes until shortly before my trip to make sure they fit perfectly when I visit friends & former students there who I haven't seen for 40+ years.

It will be a shock to see that the 12-year-olds I taught in the late 60's are now in their 50's. Of course, I was in my early 20's then (5'8"/112 lbs)---so they will probably be shocked to see me as a senior. And even though I've lost 30% of my weight and hope to lose more by then, there is no way I will be that skinny again.

Capital E Levi's that I found on my last trip to San Francisco. They fit perfectly and remind me of the friends who I rendezvoused with and what a grand time we shared.

Another favorite of mine is an pair of off-brand Croc-style clogs. They were a little too short, but after wearing them a few times I couldn't return them, so I cut the toes section out with a box-cutter. People often ask me where I got them with the bare toes (they look like sandals.) I like to wear them when I work in the garden ---so easy to hose off when they get muddy.

A TOPS member gave me a bag of clothing to pick through. She expected me to take the nice "grown-up" trousers, and when I asked what the pink thing was, she said "oh, just a child's pajama". Well, I love that pink T-shirt. It fits so well over my newly slimmed hips that I'm forever twisting and turning in front of the mirror. If it wasn't for the skull and crossbones over a spider web motif, I believe I would wear it outside.

Mine is a whitye sweatshirt ---since I cut it down the center to make it a light weight jacket and put lace down the front edges and around the sleeves and then embroidered flowers on it to. It's something I love wearing it when I get a chill, especially during the winter.

My favorite sweatshirt is from San Antonio, it's full of holes and way to big. I love it and actually pulled it out of the donate bag when I cleaned out my closet today. I eliminated all my worn, outdated, and too big clothes. I dropped a jean size today and as a reward got rid of all the stuff that I wouldn't wear to begin with and all the clothes I hope to never have to wear again. But I did relent and save San Antonio! I feels really great to be making progress I can see.

I have a blouse that's over 10 years old that friends gave me when I retired. It's worn out and I still throw it on around the house. Gives me good mem'ries.

Mine is a brown sweatshirt with a logo from the Museum of Northern Arizona which I bought while on vacation in Sedona, and the Grand Canyon.

It is warm and cozy. I hate putting it in the wash and would wear it every day, year round, if I could.
