I've been doing the Atkins for (1) week so far. I've lost (6) pounds. I was tracking my intake for several weeks on SP trackers, but I don't get the counting calories. Getting within my range #'s seemed impossible. The (1) and only time I managed to get ALL the numbers w/in the ranges on the same day, was the day I said I had enough and ate what I consider "fast-food, crap food" all day. Latte for breakfast, McD's for lunch and Arby's for dinner. I like pasta and rice, but I can give them up if that's what I need to do to drop weight. I did the walking a mile after work. It lasted a week. I'm going to try Atkins. It's worked so far. I'm going to see what I can do on it. It seems made for me. I'm a serious carnivore and like meat w/ at least (2) meals a day. This is the 1st "diet" (by that I mean, a set plan w/ a name) I've done. I've done the watch what I eat and hoped it worked diet, but I've never had a real plan. Please keep us posted as to how it's working for you. I'm always leery of the 'testimonials' in the books they share. I would like to believe they're true, but you never know!
