I agree with the previous poster. ACE is also a pretty reputable organization.

I am not a SparkPeople trainer but have a degree in Exercise Science. I personally would higher an NASM or ACSM trainer. I don't know if price makes better quality but those are the 2 organizations I would go with. Just my humble opinion! Have a great day.

Ok I am still totally over whelmed by the number of options out there for personal trainer certification! I have looked at several websites that compare ACSM, NASM, ACE, and various others. I'm surprised to find that ACSM was less expensive than the NASM. Are the more expensive ones better? Any SparkPeople trainers out there have advice?
