There's a lot of help here!! That's why I joined! search diabetes above! pre-diabetes is just as severe. I've had pre-diabetes for 37 years. Now it's the real thing. :o(

I have just found out my blood sugars are to high. I'm trying to figure out what to eat, etc. My Dr. is on maternity leave and the one I saw wasn't much help. I got my tracking here changed to diabetic tonight. Good luck to you. This is a great site

Welcome to Spark. You have taken an important step on your journey by joining! I've been a member a little over 3 years. I made fantastic progress and lost 100 pounds in the first year BUT I became careless about nutrition and exercise and have gained a lot of the pounds back! Hi! I joined to get help counting carbs. I am milimeters from full fledged type 2. I counted carbs during my last pregnancy (a surprise pregnancy at 47, he's 9 now!) It was do able. Now I need to do it again before the Dr orders it. My sugars are creeping up and up and I knew something was up I was feeling pretty yucky. I also need to lose weight of course.
