Most dressings, as long as if they are refrigerated after opening, will last close to a life-time. As long as if any oils haven't gone rancid you are good to go! I think I have some open bottles in my fridge that are a couple years old and are still just as good as the day I opened them!
Freshness dates are mostly about quality guarantee. If there's oil, you might have it go rancid, but vinegar by itself never goes bad. Check to make sure there's no mold or bad smells, and I would think that the flavors in the dressing are just less than they should be.

I have a bottle of raspberry vinaigrette and it says best bye November of 2011 but I've heard that it has a longer shelf life with the viniger in it. Should I keep using it or toss it out? It's still half full and I'd hate to waist it :(. Just used it today if I die then I guess it is bad LOL
