I wanted a Nike Fuel band for the longest but couldn't commit to it. I did some research and found this article that helped with my decision in buying my Fitbit One...I'm super happy with my purchase! www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2404445,00.a sp

What is it ? What does it do ? Do you wear it while you train ? is it just a glorified counter ?

I use a BodyMedia armband and absolutely love it as it has extensive tracking and graphing features!

I don't use it but did research it earlier this year.
One problem with several of the band-type devices, for me at least, is that they don't have a complete display. You have to synch them with your computer or other device in order to see how you've doing. For me, that's a non-starter, as I check my pedometer throughout the day. It's too bad, as I really like the look of some of them - but looks aren't everything :)

My brother-in-law and nephew both use it and they have told me they love it. Sorry I can't give any more details than that.
