Like Cyp and Doc, I have found that the big number one key to losing weight is Planning Your Meals. Shop, prep, and bring it with you. It takes a little time, a little effort, and a little forethought, but it is SOOOOOO effective. (And as much water as you can drink!) Good Luck, and keep us "posted!"
Hi Chupone. I am thrilled that you are ready to join us in this great fuel for improvement system. Doc just about took the words out of my mouth (or the keystrokes from my fingers). A focus on consistent achievement of short-term goals is indeed the way to go and eating healthy foods on a good eating schedule will help you avoid ingesting the enemy foods.

Hi there and welcome to the board. Yes, You can sure get support here ! Just start small and you will see big results. Start by tracking your goals with "my spark" I found that the short term goals were the most important ones in the long run even though I tended to try to just go for the biggies. It's the consistency that is the key. Great to have another new person. I am looking forward to hearing all about your progress. Also, The first thing that popped into my mind when I heard that you worked for a fast food chain was that 1/ You will need to probably plan your food for each shift ahead of time and 2/ Eat 3 meals and 2 snacks daily(fruits are good) so that you never get really ravenous and 3/ try adding a salad every day (oil and vinegar dressing works well for taste and low cal.)and 4/ don't forget to take lot's of water (water is a big key to feeling full and therefore not as likely to be tempted )Good luck and keep us posted. :)
Hi guys. I'm new to all of this. I didn't know I could acutally get support on my weight loss this is great. Now my problem. I am about fifty pounds over weight, and I work as a manager in a fast food restaurant which doesn't help at all, but I've been reading the message board and I sure with your help and I'm going to finally get back to healthy.
