Congrats on your loss on your measurements! That is one of the great rewards! I love to see the measurements shrink!

I'm glad you didn't see your 9 year-old's comment as an insult. He certainly didn't mean it that way. You're right, he loves you the way you are and sees you as his wonderful, beautiful mommy.

Great story Linda!

Thanks everyone! I appreciate your positive feedback and support.

My 9 year old son noticed my measurements chart today and said, "Hey mom, you are on your third row, that's great!" (the rows are each 25 cm, so I'm 2 cm into the third row)

When I explained what it was for he said, "You don't look any different." I laughed! The great thing about his comment is that he never saw me as being big and fat, like I saw myself. Another great thing is that he didn't notice because I lost the cm/inches slowly, which of course is ideal!

Thanks again!

Woohoo Linda!

Great news. Love how you keep your measurements on the refrigerator as motivation!

We like measurements too, that scale often doesn't tell the right story while the magic of a healthy lifestyle change is happening!

I just want to add my woo hoo to the boards!

I have now lost 52 centimeters (about 21 inches)collectively from my bust, waist, hips, thighs, and arms.

I printed the "printable tape measure" from the measurement page and colour in my lost centimeters. I keep it on the fridge as a daily reminder of how well I am doing.

I have just passed the point where I am one/third of the way to reaching my measurement goals.

I find the measurement tool a good motivator because the scale doesn't always cooperate with me.

Woo hoo!
