If you're a woman, look at your calendar. Your hormonal cycle could explain both the weight and the fatigue. It's extremely common to "gain" anywhere from 2 to 7 pounds of water at one point in the month, but it disappears again as suddenly as it appeared.
I work during the day. I haven't started to excerise again yet. I want to start, but i come home and want to sleep. No sun. I try to get eight hours, but alot of times it is less.

Sometimes I sit and read for a while after work and I fall right asleep. Knowing that, I try to do some activity after I change my clothes, such as: laundry, pulling some weeds in the garden, if it's my turn to cook I do that and clean an appliance at the same time. I do get energized after a while. Once in a while, I will sit and read and let myself fall asleep.

What hours do you work in the day, and how much sleep do you get at night? How much exercise are you getting? Do you spend any time in the sun during the day?

Going for a walk mid-afternoon or right after work is a great idea - the fresh air can really energize you.
As for cutting carbs, hard to give any advice when we don't know what you're eating. If you are having a very starchy or sugary lunch, it is possible that it is contributing to your lack of energy. Maybe just ensure that you're having adequate protein & fat with your lunch to help avoid any sugar crashes.
I drink a big glass of ice water (since often times my fatigue is due to dehydration) and then take a brisk walk outside. If Im still tired later, I go to bed earlier.

I often feel so tired that I have to trick myself to get started. I tell myself that if after 15 minutes, I STILL don't want to do it, I can stop. It's almost unheard of for me to stop because by that time, the exercise endorphins have started to kick in and I'm feeling much better.

Well, you don't mention anything about your calorie range/carb range and whether you're staying in the ranges recommended by your SparkPeople plan.
With that said, I can tell you that I experience the same issue of always being tired when I get home from work. I think many of us feel this way. We've worked hard at whatever we do all day!!!
My way of combatting this: Take a short walk. Outside is even better for me if the weather permits because I can then get some fresh air and sunshine. But I sometimes do a short jaunt on my treadmill. Biking, either outside or stationary, would solve the same thing.
Exercise, even in short bouts, gives you more energy!! Give it a try ...
