I used to drink nothing but coffee and soda. I still can't get by without my morning coffee, but now I much prefer water to soda. I found it easier to make the transition when I went cold turkey on the soda!

I find I drink more water if it's through a straw. I have a big tumbler with a lid and straw. It holds 16 ounces. I add ice and sometimes crystal lite and I have no problem getting through 4 or 5 of these a day.

my doc lets me count NOTHING but water. I fill up an insulated mug, 74 oz, with ice and then water and sip on it all day. i usually go through one and a half...i LOVE it!! didnt used to, but i do now!! keep trying it will come to you!!
