Thanks everyone. I think I will just keep working out and do more strength training then cardio(I love to run!) I have been doing some Jillian Michaels videos and love them so I think I will stick with that and see what results I see.

women tend to be really critical of their own bodies. Flaws that we see, no one else sees. The fact is, over 90% of the women of the world have cellulite. And there is absolutely nothing wrong with it. That's despite what the fashion magazines say. The fashion industry has women convinced that beautiful women don't have cellulite. Well, do you know why you don't see women with cellulite in the magazines ? It's because it has been airbrushed out. Go out and buy a copy of the Enquirer. They regularly like to show celebrities who have (gasp) cellulite.
The thinnest super model has cellulite and that's okay ! Do you know, there was a time when beautiful women were celebrated for having cellulite ? Look at the photos of Sophia Loren and Raquel Welch, they had cellulite and no one cared.
anyway... where am I going with this ? The point, a woman shouldn't be bothered by having some cellulite. We all have it. it what's makes us women. if you had no body fat, you'd look like an adolescent boy. If you want a curvy figure, you have to accept the cellulite as part of being female.
Now, if you'd like to increase your definition, then you need to do some strength training. Have you been doing any strength training ? If you want to tighten up your body, strength training is the way to go. Will you get rid of the cellulite ? Nope. most women will always carry some cellulite. Women body builders don't have cellulite, but would you really want to work out that many hours a day ?
Which is what a woman would have to do if she wanted to get rid of her cellulite. She'd have to be constantly dieting and constantly exercising. And well, that's not healthy.
Try not to worry that you have some cellulite, if you want to tighten up and see some shape to your body, then do make sure you're strength training. Adding lean muscle can help you feel better about your body.

I would focus on strengthening your body for a bit and see how your body responds to that. It takes a while for your skin to respond and as far as cellulite- that might not disappear even if you do lose more. Healthy- think healthy!

Some of us are more prone to cellulite than others and losing more weight is not a guarantee that you will be able to rid yourself of it. Much of that is determined by your genetics.
That being said, losing weight is just a small part of the picture of transforming your body. This is where your cardio and strength training activities come into play. It is via exercise that you begin to sculpt your body to the best it can be based on your genetics. I have been on my journey for over 7 years now and I am still seeing changes.
Hey everyone! So I hit my goal weight last week, but Im still not happy with the way I look. I still have a layer of fat over my abs and cellulite on the back of my legs.. yuck! So i dont know if I should change my goal weight and lose a few more pounds? How do you determine your goal weight?
