What I found helpful when starting was to inventory my "favorite" meals, and make sure they were in the tracker, then add them to my favorites. it took me a whole sunday afternoon but other than an occasonal new thing i never have to take much time to put anything in!!

You don't have to enter any of the other nutritional information on an item if you don't like to; it's tougher for other users, since they may not notice you've not included the other information, but you aren't required to enter all the nutritional information.

I am new and still learning how to use this site. Is there a way to just quickly add the calories for food that is not in the data base? Sometimes I don't have access to the full nutrition info but know the calories.
