I have a "dump recipe " I like to put in the crock pot.
1 large jar randalls mixed beans 32 oz tomatoes ( you can use flavored if you like), I puree part of them to make soup thinner 1 bag Morning star frozen "sausage " crumbles 1-2 tablespoons dried minced onion 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (or to taste) Dump into crock pot and cook on low 3-4 hours ( I used to take the crockpot to work and plug it in the morning and we all had soup for lunch)

This would be great in a slow-cooker! I would use cooked beans (from dry) rather than canned, though.

This is my white chicken chili recipe
1 large jar randalls beans (or3-4 small cans) great northern beans 1 jar salsa 2 cans chicken ( I use the white only) 1 large carton reduced sodium chicken broth water
Put all ingredients into the crock pot. Add one jar of water ( bean jar) and cook all day. This can also be cone on the stove but I think it tastes best when it simmers all day.

I LOVE Campbell's chicken and rice but I know I could make it healthier and with more veggies and chicken and I'm switching to brown rice so this is what i made
The Ingredients. --2 boxes of chicken broth --1 cup of uncooked brown rice --1 cup of water --2 cans of shredded chicken breast --1 1/2 stalk celery chopped --2 carrots --1/2 an onion --2 garlic cloves minced --1/2 cup frozen broccoli i put in food processor --salt and pepper to taste after cooking --a little oil for sautéing
--put your onion carrots and celery in skillet and sauté till onions turn slightly translucent --put your broth water garlic broccoli chicken and rice in crockpot then add the other veggies and cook for as long as you want the longer the better. Hope this helps
This isn't a crock-pot recipe unless you're boiling chicken for stock.
2 cups pumpkin puree 3 cups herbed chicken stock 1 cup small-diced sweet potato, roasted 2 tablespoons roasted peanut butter (up to half cup natural) a teaspoon of strong-flavored hot-sauce if any ingredient needed oil to cook, that is fine.
Since everything is pre-cooked, heat until warm. Perhaps allow an hour for flavors to mingle.
If the soup is too thick, preferred liquids are; cream or milk, v8 or tomato juice, or more chicken stock.

I am looking for a few good soup recipes to throw in the crockpot. I love tomatoe soup and chicken noodle soup... any ideas?
