I can relate!! I've just about emoticon !! If I don't do that, I'm going to be so hard on myself and become discouraged. Like you, I'm focusing on how my clothes fit . This is a more realistic way to gauge how much progress I'm making. As for TOM, I just have one thing to say.... emoticon .

This is why I need to start measuring inches...I've been working out and eating right and everyone has been saying I look great, then today I weigh myself and I've gained four pounds. Stupid "time of the month" emoticon

I rarely weigh due to the fact then when I try to diet or weigh in i gain and gain and gain. so i finally decided to weighed in. My clothes have been fitting better and I look better but the scale said I gained 10 lbs , I was immediately discouraged! Then I started thinking about the results I was seeing and feeling and dismissed it as muscle adding to the scale. and tried to stay positive. I checked my measurements today and I lost 5 inches off my waist! I am so proud that i didn't have a melt down.
