i would like the site to have more of a community feel for men. there really isn't much aimed at men, and it's also that the men are just grouped together in one big pot. I'm 25 and i don't see a whole lot of other 25 year olds on the site.

I use for it tracking meals and fitness.
I also use for it education. I have learned a lot by reading the various articles. I am also attempting to be a bit more social...my wife tells me that I'm not anti-social, more along the lines of non-social.

I also track my food and fitness daily here. I read and post with my favorite team (40 somethings), spin the wheel, track my weight and sometimes blog. What I want to do in the future is add some new foods and exercises that will make this more of a lifestyle change for me. Benny

I track my food and fitness. I also play around gathering points. I have found the points system to light a competitive fire in me to stay focused. I have more than exceeded my goal. I have lost 43 pounds in about 9 months and have kept it off for the last 5 by staying vigilant. The articles may be a little skewed.
What other guys do you know can get a perfect score on a quiz about menopause?

i used it for tracking food, tracking exercise , and some advice.
I make sure to earn at least 25 points a day. I'm wondering if sometime I may actually win one of the actual prizes.
I don't really use it to just chat with the community or to make friends, I really use it more as a resource. Lately I've been trying to help some people transition to a Vegetarian lifestyle (only when they ask for the advice! I'm not pushy!)
I like spark people, I credit spark people hugely with helping me lose 37lbs since February. I want to lose 25 more till thanksgiving. Right now is the thinnest/healthiest I've been in 3 years. For me to be an ideal weight I need to weight 164. So i'm hoping to do that.

I've used SP for a few years now. It helped me lose 15 pounds and keep that off, which has helped me become more active with my wife and kids (fitness events, sports, etc.).
I'm still half way to my ideal weight however, and a few more health goals (get my cholesterol a bit lower would be good). I also have a lot more stress with my job this year and so SP has been a huge help there.
I agree that the site is mostly women. I wrote SP recently to ask how groups of guys can link up and compete against each other. Not sure if other guys are interested in that, but it sounds like fun to me.
I use daily fitness tracker and track team goals once a week. This last couple of weeks, however, I've added food tracking, which has been great.
I do many of the things you do, I also use to support others of i can and ask for support from those that can. I do read a lot of articles and learn as much as I can. i have changed a lot about me because of this site!
I've been on this site for a couple of years now but am actually just starting to use the message boards this year...don't know why, just never did before.
I can't help but wonder what other guys do with this site - it is fairly biased towards women but there are a lot of good tools and articles for anyone. The site is sometimes so graphic-intensive that its annoying, but other sites are guilty of that as well.
Here's what I use this site for: 1. tracking what I eat Mon-Fri (not usually near a computer on the weekends, so I don't include weekend activity but I still eat healthy) 2. tracking my workouts 3. collecting points by rockin' the wheel of points! 4. reading various articles on health, etc... sometimes clicking links in the daily emails I get from this site.
