07SOJO- that is so sweet of you to be readily available for others so they can be with their loved ones :)

I celebrate Thanksgiving with my family a week early. It works out well because they are out of town so I have to travel so I'm back at work for Thanksgiving week and can work in case others need to be off. It also frees the married siblings to be with their in-laws on Thanksgiving which saves a lot of overeating on their part from going to both sides of the family to eat, and not having to rush and be at another place. My mom likes it because she can relax on Thanksgiving day and doesn't worry about cooking or anything else.

mine is halloween, we carve the pumpkins, then on halloween we walk around for half the time and the other half we hand out candy. then we relax with some hot chocolate while watching one of the kid friendly spooky movies. emoticon
