There's no trick to it; you just have to get started. Don't beat yourself up or try to "undo the damage" you did over easter, or any other time. You simply start making healthy decisions. You very next choice should be a good one! You don't worry about what you've done wrong, just worry about what you're going to do right!
Remember that weight loss isn't a linear journey; you'll have ups and downs, good days and bad days. Perfection isn't something you should ever strive for, because you're a human being, and it's not possible (nor necessary!) Just focus on getting back on that horse. You CAN do this! Your very next choice... weigh that food and track it. Make it a healthy choice. What are you doing right now? CAn you ge tup and work out for 10 minutes? DO IT!
Get started now, and worry about the future... not the past.

Hey Lovin40 - we all make mistakes but now is the time to see a plan for today's success and then tomorrow's success. We can only live today and so the past is gone. What are you doing today to help yourself make good decisions?
Can you get in your 8 glasses of water? Do a Coach Nicole workout video from the Healthy Lifestyle tab, plan a healthy dinner? Setup a meal plan for tomorrow? Each thing adds up to the success you want in the future.

You can't beat yourself up because you gained 7 pounds. what's done is done. you can't change the past, but you can change and influence the future. One thing I will say is that there is no fast way to lose the weight. Weight loss is a slow steady process that takes time. You didn't gain the weight overnight, it's not coming off overnight.
Have you set up your Spark nutrition profile ? If not, I highly recommend you set up your profile. let the software set a calorie range for you. then you do your best to stay within that range. don't go too far over or too far under. eating in that range can and will help you to lose. I can assure you that cutting your calories drastically will not speed up your weight loss. I know this is going to sound strange, but a person has to eat in order to lose.
You start with some simple changes. Remember, you're trying to change habits learned over a life time. that's not going to happen overnight, a week, a month or even a year. Change takes time. that's why we start with some simple changes we can stick with. so, if you're not used to eating 6-9 servings of fresh fruit and veggies each day, set a goal to eat 2-3 servings each day for one week. if you're not used to drinking 8 glasses of water, set a goal to drink 2-4 glasses each day for one week, if you're not used to regular exercise, set a goal to walk for 30 minutes each day for one week. Once you've achieved these goals, you create new ones.
And that's how good health starts. It starts with some simple steps.
