JELI9122, sounds like you've been "sparked" just like myself. I had my account for years before the spark lit a fire under me. It has made all the difference. Become a BFF with your Nutrition Tracker and exercise moderately and you will see results that turn heads and drop jaws! I kid you not!

Great job!! The same thing happened to me this week. I had this sparkpeople account forEVER but just started actually using it, especially the iphone app and now I'm 4 lbs down in less than a week.

Sparkpeople is the greatest!!

SANDIBETTS1, go to your Fitness Tracker at http://www.sparkpeople.com/myspark/fitness
2.asp. When you are on that page, look to the right of the heading Fitness. It reads "How Do I Use This Page?" Click on that and it will show you how to use the Fitness Tracker.

Next, to get the ready made menus, go to the Nutrition Tracker at http://www.sparkpeople.com/myspark/nutriti
on.asp. Once you are there, find the heading Track Your Food. Below that is today's date. Below today's date, click on Tracker Options. A drop down will appear and one of the choices is Show Meal Plan. Click on that and a meal plan will show up below.

To access the Water Tracker, you must be on the Food Tracker. To the right of today's date is the Water Tracker. Simply log each 8 oz glass of water you drink each day.

There is a learning curve to these pages, but once you get familiar with them, they are very easy. Also, if you have any problems, you can always go to the Message Board and get help from an expert under the heading Get Help Here. Click on Site/Technical Help.

All of this learning stuff is worth it! Believe me, working the Fitness and Nutrition Trackers makes ALL the difference.

I don't really get how to track exercise, water, or get the ready made menus.

I agree with you completely: Sparkpeople is so easy!! I notice from your message that you have accumulated Fitness Tracker minutes. Are you also using your Nutrition Tracker? If you are using it, just disregard the rest of this post. However, if you're not using it yet, start immediately! There is a small learning curve. My advice: learn it, live it, love it.

Make sure your daily food intake numbers do not exceed the bottom line ranges that Sparkpeople has set for you for calories, carbs, fats, and protein. If you religiously stay within those ranges most days AND combine that with Fitness Tracker minutes, you will see results beyond your wildest dreams. I kid you not. You will achieve eye popping, jaw dropping success! I speak from experience because it has happened to me!

I lost 4 lbs this week! I'm so excited! Ive been trying to lose weight forever and I finally made progress with only 2 weeks on sparkpeople. Love my ready-made menus and shopping lists. Its soooooo easy! YAY!
