HAPPINESS IS AN INSIDE JOB!
I'll bet no one ever told you - I think you're eating too many veggies. OR - I think you need a little more sugar in your diet! I avoid sugar as much as possible and I fill my meals with as many non-starchy veggies as I can. Sugar and starch are not my friends. Avoid sugar and starch and eat all the plants you can! Now I'm reaching for a LOWER goal than before, (Dr. approved) but feel confident I can do it! The M-WORD - MODERATION- is the most important AND most difficult goal for me to attain. My Goals:
I'm aiming for a fit and healthy body, free from chronic pain.
My Program:
I'v come to realize I simply have to eat LESS. I also try to move more in any way I can. Old injuries keep me from doing much consistent exercise, but water activities save the day.
Personal Information:
I'm a native Texan living in Central Texas. I retired a little early, at age 58. I wake up each day expecting HAPPINESS. It's a great thing to look forward to.
Other Information:
My interests include oil and watercolor painting. I've decided that my main "work" after retirement is keeping my body healthy and banishing pain and debility that tries to creep up on me.
