~ KEEP ~ IT ~ SIMPLE ~ ...... K.I.S.....

~Hello~My name is Deby... ~Thanks for stopping by my page~..... I am 58 years young... I finally reached my goal weight of 140s. I reached it Sept. 2014... This has been a very long journey. I started Sept. 24, 2008 at my highest weight ever 225+ lbs... Finishing Sept. 2014 @ 140-145..
~ ~ * ~ ~ * ~ ~ * ~ ~ * ~ ~ * ~ ~ * ~ ~ * ~ ~ * ~ ~ * ~ ~
I put back on over 15 lb. I am now working on getting back to my goal... and then to Maintenance Mode. I would love to maintain 145-149 lbs. during Fall/Winter & 137-140s during Spring - Summer.

~I have a wonderful husband and 3 AWEsome adult Sons who now have families of their own.~
~ ~ * ~ ~ * ~ ~ * ~ ~ * ~ ~ * ~ ~ * ~ ~ * ~ ~ * ~ ~ * ~ ~

I was on Sparkpeople a few years ago... Started in Feb. 2009... weighed in at 195 lbs... after loosing over 25=30 lbs on my own (225+ lbs Aug. 2008) my last Sparkpeople experience lasted over a year... ending with me weighing in @ 175+ lbs... I rejoined weighing in @ 167 lbs... Over the holidays 2013, I regained 10 lbs... (175) Since March 17, 2014 I lost 30 lbs, on my version of the Atkins diet... which made me reach my first goal of 146 lbs... I learned alot on Atkins about sugars/carbs... this is definitely gonna help with the maintenance part of my new HEALthy LIFEstyle. After reaching 140, I feel like this is my healthy weight... I am working at maintaining 145-149 during Fall/Winter as my fluctuating wt... Spring/Summer I plan to maintain a 135-140 flux....

I have been Back SPARKling Since August 2013... I am soooo thankful for all the Support I have received here @ SPARKpeople... ~THANK YOU~

(I am still Adjusting to my new weight & HEALthy LIFE-STYLE)

This past Holiday season ... Dec. 18 ... I had emergency surgery ...
apparently... even withOut a gallbladder... I can still produce stones.... So... I have to figure out a new Healthy Daily Diet...
in so doing I gained a few lbs back... I will be making the adjustments Necessary, in the hopes of Not producing stones...
I am confident I will find a healthy diet... along with getting back to my goal weight.....

Continuing in Maintenance mode along with making all the necessary changes in my life to maintain this new weight and lifestyle... Lots of Adjustments to make...

Learning how to remove Excess from my Life...
so that I may enJOY the reNEWed ME !!!

Years ago... driving home from shopping. In front of me, a car pulled out in front of another car and almost hit each other.... It was as if time stood still for a moment... I could see all the negative energy being passed back and forth... flipping off, yelling at each other.,... It really upset me... when I got home I prayed and meditated over it... I thought... wow... Are we really sending out all that negative energy around the world... NO WONDER everything is such a mess... then... I thought wow... what can I do to bring a balance of the positive & negative...
then it hit me.... I could BLESS (wish from the heart... everyone all the best) ... this is why... I have chosen to practice the ~ART~of~BLESSing~

1. My youngest son got married AUG. 2014... I reached my goal .... back to the 140s. Done!!!!!!!
(Now learning to Maintain my weight... I understand it will go up n down ... due to stress.. weather.. health)

2. I would like to maintain 145-150 as my basic weight for Fall - Winter. (As.long.as I stay in the 140s I will be content)

3. Maintain 140-150 as my basic wt. for Spring - Summer.

4. Loose 2015 Holiday Season(159) weight, that I regained... I am working towards being 140s.........

    1. Play with kids.
    Even if they are not your own, just kid around kids while they are just being kids.
    2. Give someone a compliment.
    Not a fake one, but take the time to see something that someone else is doing well.
    3. Sing in your car.
    And sing as loud as you can. Have you ever noticed how hard it is to frown while you are singing?
    4. Watch a movie.
    You might like it, and maybe you'll laugh, and maybe you'll cry.
    5. Bake your favorite kind of cookies.
    Then eat some.
    6. Count your blessings.
    I mean it. Start a list of all the things you are thankful for.
    Write until you can’t write anymore. Staple it to the wall.
    7. Watch people.
    Go find a crowded public area, sit down and watch. Allow yourself to wonder what he ate for breakfast, or what her name is, or where he bought that shirt.
    8. Do something for someone you love.
    Do the dishes for your wife, take your niece out for ice cream,
    take your mom to Starbucks for a coffee.
    9. Laugh
    It'll make you feel good.
    10. Think of the most encouraging person you know and call them.
    But don’t complain. Refrain from telling them how bad your day is
    and focus on making their day better.
    11. Write a letter.
