A Journey starts with a single step!

If you look to the left, you will see a person who was in dire need of help. After many more years of negrect to my health than I care to recall, I am determined to become healthy! In the time I have participated in Sparkpeople, I am motivated, becoming educated in proper nutrition, and look forward each day to listening and learning from the other individuals in Sparkpeople. Thanks and keep the motivation coming. I will as well!

My Goals:
My Major goal is to get and stay healthy before I turn 50 so my wife and I can enjoy our life actively together as our children leave the nest.

My goal for March: Jog 3 miles in 39 minutes! Reward myself with a jogging outfit. I plan on entering my first 5K in April! I plan to us my iTouch I rewarded myself with in January.

A goal for my birthday: lose 30 lbs by my birhtday in April and get a new pair of cross trainer shoes!


My Program:
I am currently following the menu planning. In March I target at least 3 days a week strength training..

I walk at least 3 miles every day.

Hi! I sure hope your finger is healing. Sorry to hear of your injury. I am the one who mistyped! I meant IN when I wrote ID! Since I live in Idaho I guess I just typed on auto pilot! I grew up in Ohio and went to school at IU. I was curious where you live since you were able to go chop wood nearby...
