Educator needs Educating

Hi...MY name is Rick. I work with special needs students in 6-8 grades. I am a single dad of a teenage boy. We are both in a fitness plan through my insurance from work. My busy lifestyle has made it harder than I thought to keep up with my Diet/Excercise program . A friend from work recommended this site.

Hey there! I came across your profile on another page. I am also a teacher, and started my weight loss journey at about the same level.

Don't worry too much about how to fit in diet and exercise. I've discovered that just consciously thinking about taking a few extra steps, or doing a few wall push ups throughout the day has been a big help. I've also made a serious effort to drink about 100 oz of water a day. The nice thing about having this site handy is that you can usually track your food and exercise from the school.

P.S. As a school counselor I know how hard it is to juggle work and home life with staying in shape. You are to be commended for taking steps towards getting healthy and dropping those pounds. Get excited! You can do this!!!
