2014

Like most of you, my life has been full of changes. I have decided that it's time for ME and 2014 is the year to start!

I have a very loving and supportive husband. We were high school sweethearts and have been married 27 years. We have one son who is in college. I don't know what I would have done these last few years without the two of them. They are the loves of my life!

I have always worked out. I remember exercising in college and thinking I was "fat" at 121 ...

I have a very loving and supportive husband. We were high school sweethearts and have been married 27 years. We have one son who is in college. I don't know what I would have done these last few years without the two of them. They are the loves of my life!

I have always worked out. I remember exercising in college and thinking I was "fat" at 121 lbs. and wearing a size 3! Boy! What was I thinking? Regardless, I have always exercised in one way, shape or form forever, but my nutrition was poor. Either I ate too much or not at all. It was up and down, up and down, up and down. I needed a wake up call. Unfortunately, it took 40 years for me to figure it out, but I did!

I started eating "clean" and exercising together and it works! Finally! I love Turbo Jam/Kick/Fire, P90X, Cathe and running. I just started running/jogging on a regular basis and it helps me tremendously in the stress department!!! Hopefully, it will help me in the booty department, too!

I love Spark and all the wonderful friends I have met here! I think that was the key I needed to unlock my success! I know I will make it now. I love this journey and can't wait to see where it takes me!!

My goal is to maintain my level of fitness and eat clean...except for one cheat day!

My Program:
I love to workout and my favorite programs are Turbo Jam/Fire/Kick, Chalene Extreme, P90X, Slim in 6 and anything Cathe Friedrich. My latest fav is Jillian Michaels Body Revolution and my NordicTrack incline trainer. Can't get enough!!!

I have been married to my "high school sweetheart" for 26 years and we have a 21-year old son.

I am cardio addicted and enjoy running, the incline trainer, quite a few BeachBody's programs, as well as traveling either by air or car (road trip anyone?), mowing the yard (sad, but true), surfing the web, spending quality time with family, trying new recipes, laughing and loving

Okay - I also am ready. Oatmeal with Blueberries for breakfast. Thin Sandwich Bread with Deli Turkey for lunch. 2 pt mini bar for a snack. Salad also with lunch.

We will go to the gym at 730 tonight also.

OKAY - ARE YOU READY TO START??
Monday - Tomorrow - Lets keep Posted!

Simple Start Plan - I have practiced all weekend & done really well. Thinking before I eat things. Mark is planning to eat with me the stuff I do. He said all looks like stuff we eat anyway.

Trying to get away from Sweetened Creamer in my coffee. I love Silk Coconut Milk - the original one. But it doesnt seem as healthy as I first thought. I did buy Half & Half Fat Free to use. Only because it does show as an indulgence on the Simple Start plan & we get 7 points to use a day on those.

Was thinking of going after work tonight.
I am such a food slacker lately.

Why is it you iron out one area, and the other area goes to crap.
Started exercising, Starting eating on the fly...

Hope you are having a great weekend.
Just wanted to let you know i appreciate all the support & laughs.

Oh I have TENNIS ELBOW now.
Doc did Xray yesterday & I was RELIEVED no cancer,
but what the...I dont play tennis!!

(LOL - I know...that is just what they call it..LOL)

So now there goes the Upper body dumbells for awhile.
Grr!!
