After defying the crippling effects this brings, I know my spine fused itself together, I went through unbelievable pain and still have stiffness but .................... many years later, I continue working in health care full time, have centered my life around fitness and exercise and beat all odds!~
The Rheumatologist who treated me remarked, "Whatever you are doing, keep it up!" He told me many of his patients w/ the same condition are disabled. I am a living example of what fruits exercise, fitness, and FAITH can bring .............

Today I enjoy: Zumba, swimming, walking, bicycling, family and career. ~

~I am so happy to be a part of SP! ......In such a short time, I have met some of the most wonderful people! It truly is an adventure~

My Goals:
I chose a fulfilling career in Nursing. I currently work in a large Orthopedic & Sports Medicine clinic. I like to be a good 'role model' of fitness. I strive for the best health I can possibly achieve and enjoy.



My Program:
I've always loved fitness and living an active life. I particularly like intense exercise like Zumba, swimming, and cross-training & ST. Variety keeps it fun and interesting.

Organization: I plan meals for the week that are healthy and satisfying. Planning spills over into every area of life, and frees time for workouts.

Personal Information:
I am married: He is my best friend and we live in Eugene, Oregon (University city) ...... Home of the Ducks, who won the Rosebowl Championship in 2012 AND won the Fiesta Bowl in 2013! ............
I have three adult children-1 Son, 2 DD's and FIVE GD's .....
All are athletic & fitness minded! Yeah!!

MY INTERESTS: Avid photographer/ created my personal photo gallery~Love decorating and making each room beautiful using touches of nature.

I love writing as well and am a Graduate of the Intsitute of Children's Literature in Reading, Connecticut.
I LIVE to make others smile, but if I make them laugh, it is even better!

MY IDOL: I loved Mother Teresa and her selfless love for the poorest of the poor and relentless giving of her life for the well being of others.
