Time to make a change

I have been overweight since I was 35 and have been trying to lose the weight since then. I do good at tracking my food for a day or two then start eating whatever I want. It's time to get serious about this and lose this weight once and for all.

My husband started watching what he eats and that has been a major help. It's much easier when someone else is doing it with you.

My Goals:
My ultimate goal is 125-130 pounds. To reach my goal I have daily goals:

60 minutes exercise 5 days a week.

8 glasses of water

5 servings of fruit/veggies daily.

My Program:
I will exercise at least 60 minutes before work and walk on my lunch hour for 15-30 minutes. I can't use bad weather as an excuse, because I can walk inside when it's bad weather.

I will not follow a specific diet, but I will stay in the calorie range recommended here.

You're right - we are to help others but they are also to help themselves. I hope that before long your step-BIL wakes up and realizes he had to work on these problems and not rely on the kindness of others.

I'm praying that the conversation I hope you have with your DH will go well for the two of you.

BLESSINGS IN DISGUISE
We all want happiness and dread the thought of rain.
