My name is Christie. I am 46. I have one son who is seven-years-old. He is my blessing as it took eight years to get pregnant. In January 0f 2012, we were blessed with my "surprise" baby, Madeline Rose.

I am finally committed to get fit and healthy so that I can be a role model to my children. No more excuses.

I am also going to focus on healthy eating for me and my family.

I hope that my weight loss/healthy lifestyle journey motivates you as well.

My Goals:
My goal is to finally be consistent with exercise and to eat in a healthy manner.

I would like fitness to be a major part of life and to be lean and healthy once again.

A clothing size goal would be size 8 and I want to wear my wedding ring once again.

My Program:
Long term goal: Working out four days per week and charting my fitness minutes.

Short term goals:

1) Drinking 8 glasses of water each day.

2) Eating fruit daily.

3) Tracking my food daily.

Personal Information:
*Mom to a son, seven-year-old Nason whom I never thought I would have. I also have a two-year-old daughter, my surprise at age 43!


Other Information:
Heading toward a goal of size 8, but really want to be a size 6.

Fun information:

My favorite movies are: Gone With The Wind, Funny Farm, Pride and Prejudice (BBC version) and When Harry Met Sally.

Thanks for the comment. You do a fair amount of steps. Funny how we need both (ok, where is that eye rolling emoticon - lol). I do pretty good on eating, but need exercise to make any progress, especially as my steps would be pretty darn low (desk job). So gotta have both.
