Far better it is to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs even though checkered by failure, than to rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy nor suffer much because they live in the gray twilight that knows neither victory nor defeat. (Theodore Roosevelt)

Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't be trapped by dogma - which is living with the results of other people's thinking. Don't let the noise of other's opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary. (Steve Jobs)

Thanks for ypur comments on my page.
It was great to realize that size 14 pants are too big on me!!!
We are taking ballroom dancing and I highly recommend it!
My husband has always had a fear of the dance floor and now he is realizing that all those other men up there are really not all that special.
We are learning the foxtrot mainly right now. Fred ( our teacher ) tells us it is the one they usually start off with and it is fairly basic.
he is concentrating a lot on presentation as much as the steps. it is great to know that we are learning to do it correctly. We have had 3 private lessons so far (great for my shy husband) and last night was our first group lesson.
The group was more difficult even though there were only 3 couples bebecause Fred made us switch partners and of course you are more confident with your own spouse.

Thanks for the motivation and advice on my blog today.

I'm going for the tri since I want to do the swimming and the biking. I'll put up with the running (hopefully some walking). My daughter has run a sprint and a full and her advice for me right now is "MOM, just get in shape first." So, I'll keep learnign and "getting in shape" :)

Thank you for stopping by my blog. You are so right about gadgets being motivational. I did not think I would be so controlled by them! LOL

I am also inspired by reading through your accomplishments!! Once I have my foot surgery, I will be able to run again. Do you know if it is permissible to walk at all in a triathlon? Or running only?

Thanks for your comments on my blog. I must confess that after I read Gearalds Game by Stephen King I could not sleep a wink for several nights-lol. I guess that is how you measure a good suspense author :-)

Thanks for posting on my blog. Your comments were VERY uplifting. I had dinner with my BF last night, and it's amazing how the chemo has already affected her taste buds. The spinach was bitter to her and the salmon was salty....all things I did not notice at all when I tasted the food. She seems in very positive spirits even with all the pain she is in. I pray she will do as well as your co worker's spouse has done.

I SO appreciate your friendship and support!!! THANKS emoticon !!!

Becky
