Sorry to hear that your lilac did not make it thru the storms. Actually that is what I was thinking to replace the tree with..mmm might have to rethink that one!

Enjoy the 5% challenge and just give it your best..push all negative thoughts from your mind and say good things to yourself ! Set realistic goals..well that would be Me!! I always seemed to set goals that were out there. I thought they were realistic when I set them..in hindsight I am not sure even the most dedicated person could have achieved them!

So my advice is always to set small daily goals..one weekly goal and a long term goal that builds on all of those. Find rewards that are NOT food related and be kind to yourself!

Thank you for commenting on my "New year, new habits" blog.

I didn't have an actual recipe for my casserole, but it was inspired by a casserole from www.eatingwell.com "Chicken Enchilada Stuffed Spaghetti Squash". I've never even made the recipe as stated, because my family wouldn't eat it (no corn tortillas). I'll use a variation of the Chicken/Veggie casserole from time to time, but they always have some corn tortillas and I use the veggies I have at the time.

The nice thing about casseroles--they're difficult to mess up. I just concentrate on putting lots of chopped veggies in the dish, that way I don't have to coerce anyone to "eat your vegetables"!

Hi Angela,,Welcome Hon to being a Puppy!! I'm not sure if you are tracking your food and exercise? That's such a help for many of us. I'm so glad your are with us!!

I'm on my tablet at the moment because my extremely spoiled kitty is fast asleep on my lap. I had scheduled doing laundry tonight at 7,,,yeah she's spoiled. I have had her for 5years. She's a rescue. She was 11 months old at that time. Awww cute. She's been sick for a few months. Thankfully the vet I take her to has been doing research and hopefully she'll start to get better soon. Well she's gotten better, than sadly she's gotten ill again.
