Huge breakthrough ****yesterday my mil whos 100 lbs overweight and i went on a 1.35 mile walk and then a .30mile walk at old town I called her today she had gone for a 25 minute walk at 6am and is going for another walk this evening. She said and I quote "You have inspired me to start walking Sunshine." My heart is beaming inside I know she can keep it up and if she falls back I'll be there to encourage her cause shes ready :)

Hey, I live in FL. Last Fall I had started a virtual walk to NC where i have a vacation home. But foot problems and winding up working out so much in the pool made me give up on the virtual walk. I still get in about a mile every morning and evening, weather permitting. So I think I might do the NC trip once more when it gets cooler next year and I only go to the pool once a day. I can't manage to get in the water in the morning or evening when it's real cold.
