I live in Las Vegas NV and work in the gaming sector. I've been married since 2005 to my sweet and wonderful hubby, Chuck. We've been together since March 10th, 1998. I have two kids, Jason and Karry . Karry has a cute son, Caleb and beautiful baby girl, Malia. I'm an old lady...59 now. But just between you and I...I don't feel that old! LOL

I've been on this weight loss journey for a while now. I'll be on it the rest of my life. But to me it's worth it!

I live in Las Vegas with my husband. We were married in 2005. But have been together since 1998. We met online and got married in a drive though wedding here in Las Vegas. We've lived in Las Vegas for a number of years. We're into drag racing and each other. Hubby is a Steelers fan and I'm a Seachicken's fan(Seahawks). We had two cats...Alex and Stinky. We've lost both to old age and they are missed greatly. Now we have Myles (he's a pretty boy) and Ms Penny (a total DIVA!). Both are totally spoiled. :)

This is a really strange question, but did I NOT do a blog about Caleb being born and attach a picture of the whole family at the hospital? Or am I imagining it?

Sorry I've been awol. I have arthritis so bad in my hands I can't believe it. I've just spent so much time on here typing this month because of this challenge for November. Four more days to go and I will have done it. I've already hit their goal of 50,000. I hit 50,358 words this morning. I can't believe it. I've only got 12 scenes left out of 51 and I've hardly deviated at all from my outline. I'm really glad I put so much effort into that thing. It made it ALMOST painless to type it.

Okay. So now I know I can organize a story. That doesn't make the writing great. But it sure hangs together well!

I'll write something longer before we leave on the 4th. TTYL.

Love & Hugs,
Calen~

Oh! I thought the season was just starting. I guess I didn't realize you guys had taken all that time off.

Did you do an outline for your story? I wouldn't worry about the second book yet. I'd get the outline done and dive into writing. Read the book on structure along with the writing so you can see how it evolves as you go. The plot point stuff in that second books is really important from everything thing else I've read in other books and articles. So don't wait or you'll get tired of it. Go ahead and write.

I kind of am beginning to think that with people who read a lot story and scene structure comes more naturally because they already sense the rise and fall in the story bits. At least that's what I'm finding. I haven't read the part of the book about scene structure because I get it. I'll finish reading it after I get the first draft done to make sure my scenes to have that scene/sequel feel to them.

I hit 20,000 words yesterday. With that NaNoWriMo thing they want you to do 50,000 during November. I think I'm ahead of schedule! But that's because I kind of did what you're doing. I was antsy to get started so I jumped in before November. I had eight scenes done by then. I didn't want to lose my excitement either. So I'd say JUST GO FOR IT!

You do know that there's a HUGE market for those ebooks you've been reading, right? And most of them are not traditionally published. If you turn out to really get the hang of this, you could make some money at it!

Sending you some support! I saw in the team huddle that you are sliding backwards.

It happens. Take a moment and reflect on what could be causing you to slide backwards. You will get back on track.
