My Program:
Continue to eat lots of fruit and vegetables. Eat protein 2 - 3 times a day, and work on drinking more water. Work out, almost daily, but no less than 5 days a week.

Personal Information:
I was born and grew up in Germany. Curiosity prompted a visit to the US and I never left. I am married to the love of my life. We have two sons and four grand daughters. In Aug. 2011, I celebrated 50 years in the US. Hard to believe. I had total hip replacement surgery in July 2010. I love walking, skiing, golfing, swimming, and, out of necessity, strength training, to stay as active as I can.

We are finished with second day of three day drive. Lots of heavy rain and stress today. We are hunkered down in a La Quinta in Texarkana, Tx. Big storm going over us....tornado warnings. Tomorrow looks clear for 10 more hours of driving. There has to be a better way....
It was a blessing to meet and help out with new grand baby. Heading back in July. I am ready to crash for a while.
Welcome back home to you! Hugs, Laurel emoticon

Marlis - I know how hard it is to lose weight when travelling. Just enjoy your time on the road. I do a lot of travelling for work and find that the weight comes off much easier when I get back home to my routine. Keep plodding along emoticon

We are driving down this Friday and returning May 1. We leave for Alaska May 13 and will be gone 3 weeks. I think this time is going to fly by! I'm sure you are having fun as you get exhausted. emoticon

ETA - Actually a little more than 3 weeks - back on June 6.
