HOLY CRAPOLI I'VE LOST 93 LBS WITH SPARKPEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

NOTE: I've lost 93lbs with SparkPeople and have lost ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTEEN POUNDS total! As of August 28, 2014 I am working on maintaining that loss.

My name is Andrea, I'm 35, married, so far childless and looking to lose some extra pounds! I don't want to be a stick, but I want to be healthy, and I don't want to be plus-sized anymore. I'm aiming for an 8 as an ultimate goal, since I've never been thin enough to wear a 8, and it's a single digit, woot woot! (I'm currently in a 10, and if the 8 I wear is a pair of stretchy pants I'm totally cool with not going below a 10.) ETA June 2014 - I currently own a SIZE 8 pair of capris!! ETA November 2014 - I also own a size 6 in dress pants! ETA Sept 2015 I have several pairs of size 6 things!

I have a wonderful husband and a 5 year old Boston Terrier named Bingley who is like my child. (No I don't walk him in a stroller or anything, but I love him just as much as I would my own child.)

My Program:
I'm tracking my nutrition and exercise via SparkPeople, and using my FitBit to try to keep an average of 8000+ steps a day, plus intermittent strength training. I swing, baby! (Kettlebells, that is.)

I was born and raised in South Jersey, just outside of Philly. I've been up and down the East Coast and abroad and I still love my state. Judge not a state by it's Turnpike. =)

    Definitely with you! I've gone up as high as 17 over maintenance in past year. Now am more like 5-10 over. Some of my clothes were a little snug there for a bit, but not gone up, thankfully. I'm finding that what got me to goal at 29 is not helping me stay there in my 30's, so experimenting quite a bit. Having trouble getting back into a fitness groove after some minor injuries as well, but keep just trying to make good choices and doing what I can. Onward!

    Thanks for the tip on the shoes. And you are right about C25K progressing quickly. I did something similar to C25K before (I think they called it that but it wasn't the official one but same dealio basically). Anyway, it took me an extra few weeks to complete because I would get stuck and have to repeat a week (each day was the same within the week only progressing at the beginning of each week). I'm really pushing to stay the course on this one.

    What kind of protein powder do you use? Do you use one kind to cook with, and a different kind to make drinks with? I want to get a protein powder that's readily available too. The last jar I got from Amazon, and I'd rather buy locally if possibly. Help!!
