This pic is a couple months old but people seem to like it so I'm putting it on my SparkPage.

HOLY CRAPOLI I'VE LOST 93 LBS WITH SPARKPEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
NOTE: I've lost 93lbs with SparkPeople and have lost ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTEEN POUNDS total! As of August 28, 2014 I am working on maintaining that loss.
My name is Andrea, I'm 34, married, so far childless and looking to lose some extra pounds! I don't want to be a stick, but I want to be healthy, and I don't want to be plus-sized anymore. I'm aiming for an 8 as an ultimate goal, since I've never been thin enough to wear a 8, and it's a single digit, woot woot! (I'm currently in a 10, and if the 8 I wear is a pair of stretchy pants I'm totally cool with not going below a 10.) ETA June 2014 - I currently own a SIZE 8 pair of capris!! ETA November 2014 - I also own a size 6 in dress pants! ETA Sept 2015 I have several pairs of size 6 things!
I have a wonderful husband and a 5 year old Boston Terrier named Bingley who is like my child. (No I don't walk him in a stroller or anything, but I love him just as much as I would my own child.)
Start - 253 - 4/4/12
240 - DONE 6/19/12
225 - DONE 8/30/12 (technically 225.3 but I'm counting it)
No Longer Obese (213.9 lbs) - DONE 11/11/12
210 - DONE 11/29/12
195 - DONE 4/3/13
180 - DONE 10/26/13
170 - DONE 3/2/14
Ideal - 160 - DONE 8/29/14
I'm tracking my nutrition and exercise via SparkPeople, and using my FitBit to try to keep an average of 8000+ steps a day, plus intermittent strength training. I swing, baby! (Kettlebells, that is.)
I was born and raised in South Jersey, just outside of Philly. I've been up and down the East Coast and abroad and I still love my state. Judge not a state by it's Turnpike. =)
I believe in equality for all people: men, women, whites, blacks, asians, hispanics, gays, straights, transexuals, transgenders, etc. As long as you don't try to take MY rights away or try to cram your beliefs down my throat, we're cool. =)

Thanks! Yeah, it has been a reward for the work, the hilarious thing is that I didn't expect to fit in these clothes until my goal weight, and thanks to help from you, I'm not as concerned with the number that may be. So, as I continue to lose (however slowly) I will definitely keep evaluating.

good morning! I read with great interest your post about family on AML. the photos were wonderful. and I saw the steamed asparagus--yuum! I assume you have baked it as well--if not, you might want to try it. I set the oven at 425, mist a piece of alum. foil with nonstick spray, lay the spears down, drizzle with good olive oil and sprinkle with pink salt. bake for 15-25 minutes--until they are soft enough to poke with a fork. it's the only way rob will eat it now!
have a great Tuesday!
