At goal and setting new ones!

Been maintaining for a while, but ready to work towards a new goal. Always learning and working towards a healthier me!

Almost to goal update

I've been 5 lbs from my goal weight for a while, but have accomplished so much! The biggest things that have helped me to get this far is eating the best that I can, tracking everything, and daily walking.
Here to lose weight to feel better about myself and be healthy. Been down this road before and really don't want to do it again so I am working very hard to make better choices when it comes to food and exercise.

My Major Motivation Points:
Personal Appearance: I want to:
Wear a swim suit on the beach (and look good in it!)
Firm up what I have
Keep my thighs from rubbing
Look better naked!
Have my clothes fit better

Health & Fitness: I want to:
Live longer
Have more energy
Climb stairs without being winded
Not feel/get sick all the time
Feel and be stronger

Friends, Family and Social Life: I want to:
Play and be active with my kids
Stick around to see my grandkids grow up
Do more active things with my spouse/siginicant other

Everyday Signs and Situations: I want to:
Be more confident in myself, with better self esteem
Prove to myself that I can do it.

Ali, I know what you mean about getting complacent. My dh has known me and loved me bigger too so its easy to think 'it doesn't matter!' But we need to love ourselves too don't we. Good luck and keep being kind to yourself Love Donna X

Thanks for your comment on my "Seriously Struggling" blog.

I really should stress myself less. I set personal goals and then feel pressured when I don't meet those goals, but they're MY GOALS, which is silly. You're right, I'm strong-willed (read: stubborn as hell) and I overdo it sometimes. Thanks!

You're so right, there really should be more of an emphasis on eating. I convinced myself so many years that I was too busy or too lazy, etc. Then I spent 18 months in the gym busting my butt and barely lost anything, it was exhausting!
Finally realized the kitchen was key and I'm losing.
Oh, after working out for 70 minutes yesterday. I'm weighing in 4lbs higher today. LOL. Like you say, not going to sweat it, I know I'm still in deficit and I'll do measurements later this week.
