I'm back. LOVE my new shoes!! No shin pain or knee pain! It was never terrible, but it was there. Mostly just with my outside runs. So I did 6 miles in 70 mins flat. I can improve on that! Going to run at the school again tomorrow...minimum of 6.
Alright, time to relax!! Hope your day has been good. How is dad?

Good Morning!! Happy Friday!
What's going on this weekend? Soccer? Wasn't sure with the holidays and all. Easter plans?
We'll go to church in the morning, then have an Easter egg hunt for P and C, and then just kind of chill and enjoy the day. It's just the 4 of us this year. We're making a ham, baked corn, and sweet potatoes. Nothing too fancy. My weakness will be the dinner rolls...not on the clean eating menu, but we only make them like 3 times a year!

Alright, C is waking up, so short on time. Was planning a TM run, but hubs is staying home today, so I should get myself outside. Def planning an outside run tomorrow.

Need hair help! OK, so I'm not sure I like the new hair color stuff. I'd like a deeper red. I am just not sure I can keep up with the cost of it every 8 weeks. Thinking maybe I need to move back to a solid color that I can do at home (like before). So, could I just get a dark brown and go over all this myself? Or should I go back, have her do it back to one shade professionally, and then continue the upkeep myself from there?
Any advice is welcome! Wish you could just do it for me!!
Anyway, grays are coming through - YUCK - and I want to get it done before Indy.

Alright, gotta get going. Hubs is taking us out for breakfast, yum!
I keep re-reading the comment you left me on 4/14 - it helps, you really are the best. Cannot wait to give you a real life hug!!

P.S. We're going to the mall too...and I think (think) I might buy running shorts for race day (was going to just do my yoga capris, but think they might be too hot).

Hey E. C.!
Did you get to sleep in?
Sorry about the crazy start to your day yesterday. Glad you and your dad were there for each other! It's funny you mention having an anxiety attack...well, not funny...but I was just thinking about that the other day. I haven't heard you mention having one in a while and I was thinking how much you've turned your life around and how happy you seem to be these days. That makes me happy emoticon

LOVE how you handled the situation with Linda. At first I was confused, cuz normally when you say L you are talking about Liz. I was like "why is Liz calling your dad to tell him she's sick?!" LOL! I was reading it at like 4AM (I was up with C) so it took me a minute, haha!

Thanks in regard to the comment on my 6. Can you just explain to me why I struggle to keep that pace outside? I'm sure it will be easier when I'm with you, and we're running side by side - in 16 DAYS!!!
Those 6 yesterday were the best ever. Not just time wise, but just the over all feeling. I felt good the entire time. I only slowed down to walk 2 times and for 30 seconds each. First around mile 3 and then around mile 5. I shifted from 5.5 to 6.1, though mostly stayed at 5.9. Also shifted between 1% and 2% incline.

So when I made my hotel reservation I did it through the Festival site, not directly with the hotel. They said that after 4/16 you could call the hotel to confirm. Just did that a minute ago and the lady was all cheerful and was like "you are registered with us and for the 500 Festival". Kind of gave me chills!

Oh, and last night I watched the video of the course. It's flat girl, like flatter than flat. I was kind of bummed to see how industrial looking part of the course is (like run down industrial), but then again I'm running with you, so it doesn't really matter. The whole part of going out on the Indy track and doing a lap looks so cool!!

2 weeks from today, at approximately this time, we'll be pulling out of our driveway and headed to Ohio! We've reserved a rental car...a car this time rather than an SUV since we'll only have the two little ones...and it's so much cheaper! We had to pay $200 for the Explorer for 2 days! This time we will get either a Chevy Cruze or Ford Focus and it's $170 for 4 days!
OK, I'm rambling for 2 reasons - I'm super excited AND I'm avoiding school work. But I best get to it.

Hope you are well today - going to run? I'm resting today, but running 4 or 5 tomorrow and then a long run (outside) on Saturday.
