Goals for 2012:

Fitness goal is to run a fast 21.1K towards the end of the year, and get into mountain bikingand so more trail running.That's all!!
No extremes for 2012!

My Program:

2012: Started from scratch all over again.
Currently jogging/walking 5K 3x a week

2011:
Was training for Comrades 2011 but then got a stress fracture (Feb 2011). So now taking it easy and starting all over again.... WILL NOT OVERDO THINGS!!!

My activities: Walking, running, spinning, cycling, rowing, hiking.... and gardening.

Nutrition:
Low Fat Vegan (from Nov. 2011)


Personal Information:
As a (slow) long distance runner and cyclist I am busy rediscovering my fitter and leaner self!

Hi Sam,
Got back to UK, settled.
Gained back everything in the last two years,
I'm back since February.
not logging my food but eat well.
And currently no running or but
I still swim. All of us.
Big boys even compete, they swim 7 hours a week.
I'm doing body pump, it's strength training in an exercise class to music.
I tried the gym but lost motivation although had great results.
I just don't enjoyed it. Fortunately body pump seems to work.
Hubby did several marathon, triathlon and even an Ironman.
He never did any sport before... He learned to swim from me.
I'm not all happy about it as he stole it from me, really.
I let him to joined the triathlon club a year before his race,
But he won't let me back. He already booked next years ironman
Which means I can't go back for a couple of years at least, which is not nice from him. We can't go both because of the kids.
That's why I started body pump and Zumba.
I think I work out enough without triathlon
For losing weight it's more about clean eating.
If I eat my planned vegs during the day I'm ok.
I still miss triathlon.
also family gives me lot to do and .
how are you doing?

Hey Sam! You have me reading up on veganism. I am planning to see how I can make a good start in this direction.

My 30 K is at the end of March. I plan a couple of half marathons and one full marathon this year. I am very optimistic about 1012. And, we are tentaively planning to make 2014 the year we visit South Africa.

Thay're lovely, aren't they? You can wear them as outwear, or as underwear. I can picture myself swanning around in a long skirt, flimsy blouse and that fabulous corset...... Mmmmmmm
