Me!
I was always the big girl - from about Jr. High until 2007. That's when things changed! In March of 2007 I weighed 323 pounds. I underwent gastric bypass surgery on March 15th of that year and I have lost about 150 pounds... but as many people have found out it's not the magic cure, just a tool to help you lose the weight. I'm at the point where many who have undergone gastric bypass begin to fail. That's not an option for me. I've lost all the weight I can from surgery and now the rest is up ...

My Goals:
Make the roster for this year's bout schedule. Oh snap! As of 7/11 I did this and I'm on the roster for August too!!! Finish my MBA in April of 2010. Become a better skater and take on more physical activity. Doing that!
My Program:
I practice roller derby twice a week for two hours - it's pretty intense. I just purchased outdoor wheels so I am excited to get more skating in on the weekends!! Also, using my exercise ball to work on my core/abs.

I'm from Topeka - I work in higher education.
Other Information:
Pain is temporary, quitting lasts forever.
