Not going to let it win!

I've spent most of my life having a decent figure (never fit though) until now. I'm 35 with 2 kids. It seems that all of the sudden I gained a ton of weight and now I can't seem to find the motivation to get it off. I've always been the type to drastically cut my diet to just about nothing and never excercise mostly because I'm not athletic and am a huge clutz. That and I hate for people to see me struggle. I live in a beautiful area and want to be able to go hiking and to the lake, but am embarrassed to because I am so out of shape. I want to be able to go shopping and actually choose what I want instead of settling for the few things that find that will hide my figure. I hope I can find some motivation here by tracking my progress and pulling strength from others..

My Goals:
Get back to my basic training weight and fitness level.

My Program:
I've cut out fast food, sweets and soda, am eating at home instead. I've started drinking more water and no booze. Still trying to keep the motivation to get moving though.

Personal Information:
Like I said above, I'm the mom of 2 boys, one 4 and one 16yrs. I work behind a desk so my activity level is non-existant. I love to scrapbook, watch football, camp, travel and do things with my family.

Other Information:

Hey congratulations on your weight loss so far, the thing that helps me get motivated is to stay positive (when possible) and remember to love yourself (extra weight or not). The best tip I have learned on SP so far is to never say anything to yourself you wouldn't say to a friend, be your own number one supporter. emoticon
