Over this past summer I was working out consistently, but I have actually gained weight. I think I can pretty much admit that diet was a part of that. It''s time to stop thinking about how fit I was 3-4 years ago and be more concerned with my current state and where I want to be! Looking over my shoulder will prevent me from looking towards the future. So I updated my page with current photos of my family and will keep moving forward! February 2017. I am right under 200 lbs. I would feel comfortable in the 180's for my height. I can get there again.

My Goals:
Back half of 2015

1. Get back down to the lower 170's again. It's hard realizing where I used to be as compared to where I am now, but I HAVE TO look forward.

2. Get on a steady workout regimen. Something I have struggled with for a long time.

3. I have been tracking my food since the end of August and I am still shooting for 1600-1800 calories a day.

My Program:
-Play volleyball and coaching it.

- I love taking step aerobics so I go to 2-3 classes a week. If there isn't a class, I'll do some cardio.

Personal Information:
I am your not typical PE teacher. I am a big time over-achiever and don't want to settle with just "rolling out the basketballs" every day. I have an after school running club with tons of kids running local races. I also have a successful jump rope team.

Never ever, ever, underestimate what a kid can do. My kids will challenge anyone to anything. It does not matter if its pushups, running, sit-ups, sit and reach, or pull ups, MY KIDS WILL BEAT YOU.

    Hi! So, OMG, my bff wants us to sign up for a 5/15K in December (a Hot Chocolate Run--like I could resist that). She really wants us to try the 15K. The most I've ever run is 6 miles and I haven't done that in months--mostly because there's been no reason to--lol. I'm a "plan" girl. I like a training plan (last summer I did the C25K). So, I'm wondering if you followed a specific training program when you did the HM training. If only the race offered a 10K, I wouldn't hesitate. Plus, I have almost 6 months to train.

    I'd welcome any advice or suggestions. Hope all is well with you!
