New Life = New Beginnings

My name is Sarah. I am a 20-something young woman originally from North Carolina. Now I live in Charleston, South Carolina with my HANDSOME husband, who happens to be a United States Airman. I want to become a healthier and happier individual. I want to get more out of life than what I have been getting in years past. I want to strengthen my relationships with God, my family, and my friends.

My Program:
I don't follow any specific program of diet or exercise. I feel as though proper diet and exercise should be well-balanced. Moderation in both is absolutely key.

Personal Information:
I'm from a small rural town in North Carolina. Since July 2013, I have been living in Charleston, South Carolina with my military husband. I am so thankful the Lord has blessed me with this (GORGEOUS!) man of God! God uses him everyday to keep me going strong! I couldn't be more blessed!

Love that-- "rock your resolution"! You go girl! :) Glad you got in a great workout. Me too- Did a good 40 minute (& very chilly) walk this afternoon! Kept my fats down too-a tricky feat- (as my system is still not fond of them, tho its better than before!) So today has been good! To top it off, I had a very special answer to prayer today! I went to bed with a prayer request (that to me didn't have an answer anywhere in sight)...and 12 hrs later....I listened to a msg on my answering machine with a crazy wonderful God like demonstration that He heard! :) Its neat, not only have a loving faithful Friend, but also having an all powerful God who is able to do anything! Keep pressing forward both in your physical goals, and in your faith! emoticon

Good to hear from you! :) Don't worry...changes take *time* and continuing effort. --I reminding myself too!!! Perhaps you could try gradually reducing your soda intake. Check it off on the calendar or something-to say you have your "quota" for the day....lol! My downfall is chocolate :P Dark chocolate! Good thing-with anything sweet- I can only have so much and then I feel bleh...bad thing is, it doesn't take MUCH of chocolate to add up to a LOT of calories &fat! (but hey, at least I like the "better' of the 2 evils now :D jk.)
I'm sure things *are* a diff world married...I watched my younger sister go through the process and I guess, since she is my little sister, I see/hear some true colors of married life! Looking at their marriage...Somedays are easier than others. Somethings are easier to compromise than others. I'm sure that is tough having a totally opposite sleeping pattern though! I hope you'll be able to establish at least a consistent time you go to sleep...that will help you. Praying God will give you special grace as you adjust, that you will grow in His love.And I pray God gives you courage, discipline & strength to make the changes needed to become a healthier you :) God is faithful...even when we mess up. Hey girl! I see you're back on! Welcome emoticon ! I know its kinda a hard time to get into the swing of things right now, but we can do it! I'm kinda feeling like I'm teetering right now....like I could swing either way-yikes! I guess maybe since I've yet to make a plan of action *and* I keep getting (health) setbacks! Right now I can't do vigrous exercises and my eating will be off for a bit because of my top molar (chewing) tooth was extracted yesterday :( (It was a rare case of self destruction!) BUT, I am being diligent with my sleep schedule and trying to keep my water intake well. :) But in a week I'll be back in the game, all going well :) And whatever case, I'm REALLY determined not to see the 200's again! emoticon There is a quote that goes something like this "No matter how great the task before us, it cannot compare to the Power within us!" May you continue to seek God out each day, and rely on Him (& His people) for help to make good & godly choices. ~With God ALL things are possible! :) Remember your worth..you are very precious! emoticon
