Yes, we're in good company....and when it comes to dieting, trying to live healthy and being on SP, I don't mind saying I've been "around the block" LOL Far more times than I like to admit! LOL
The tracker moved from being a chore to being my friend when I started to discover what looking at it could mean for me...I discovered on the days when my nighttime cravings were out of control, I hadn't gotten enough protein...who knew a lack of protein would make my body/mind want salty chips? LOL I also learned some big lessons about food choices when eating out or at someone else's house. Now, coming home from a party and logging a meal to see a full day's worth of fat and calories in only one meal which BTW didn't even satisfy me. UGH...but lesson learned.
I HAVE to track...it's too easy to fool myself into thinking I ate well with small portions of tasty but high fat items. For me, better to have a better sized portion of a lean protein and fill the plate with veg. When I get to the tracking it will probably be high but at least I will have had some nutrition and satisfaction.
As Red Green (a comic character) says.....We're all in this together! Keep your stick on the ice!
Thanks so much for your support! I really really really want 2016 to be the year I turn this around again. It helps in a crazy way to know there are other spark friends who are struggling. Don't mean that in a negative way, just mean that we recognize each others' journeys. Good luck with 2016 and know that you have plenty of spark friends who want you to succeed!
"Start somewhere, today. Don't put it off. You can do something, no matter how 'small' you think it is in terms of your long term goal. Every step you take is one you'll be thankful for when you get there. Remember; You're lapping everyone who's still on the couch." -Caressa Sharp
Thank you for taking the time to read and comment on my blog, "My New Years Resolution." Have a healthy and blessed 2016!
Thank you for your support on my blog. My focus is indeed on living more intentionally. I know that my 100 day effort will not be perfect. I am already behind in some things. However, the key is to trying my best every single day. Some days will be better than others.
Hi! As you may have noticed by my status today.......I nearly lost my mojo! Stupid scale! Should've followed my advice to you and stayed away from that darned machine! We aren't good friends, at all right now. But I got out there anyway today and walked (8miles today!) Was another beauty of a morning and while I left Ticked at the scale and my lack of downward progress, I came back chilled out and well worked out! lol Here's to Those NSV's. Hope you have had a few yourself recently. Have a great day! TTYL Carol
