My plan for the Fall 5% Challenge:
My 5%=6.875 pounds to lose by 11/15/14
In order to reach that goal, I have to lose about .85 pounds/week, or 3008 calories less /week through diet and exercise.
I will do the elliptical 20 minutes twice weekly
Weekly cycle class (60minutes)
Walk 5 miles (100 minutes) minimum per week.
Reduce caloric intake by 300/day
Pretty tangible, right? I think so.

I joined the 2014 Fall 5% Challenge! I am a 'Determined Daisy!'
Here are my goals in a nutshell:
I will exercise daily
I am going to do Coach Nicole's 28 day Boot Camp!
I will take one class at the gym each week
I will workout on the elliptical for 20min/2-3x week
I will eat nourishing meals when I am alone
I will take a break from my desk at least once a day
I will not eat in front of the computer/tv, or at my desk
I will take the time to prepare more of my meals from scratch
I will add weights to my daily workouts
I will not drink wine during this challenge, or limit it to one glass with dinner

Personal Information:
I am 49 years old, in good health. I started struggling with weight when I was in 9th grade. As a young woman, my weight went up and down for years. I finally found my zone when I became a young wife. After two children, my weight always settled at the same place it was before the babies, 133lbs. Over the past 20 years, things have remained very consistent with only the 'winter 7' playing a part. Typically, by the time the roads were clear enough to walk a decent clip, I was out and about, and my winter 7 was history.
Now that I am a 'woman of a certain age', things don't work quite the way they used to. Things are moving a little slower and fitness is a little harder.
In the last year, I finalized my divorce (after 23 years of marriage), my boys (21 and 19) have left the nest, and I lost my daddy (my hero). I am trying to learn how to take care of myself, now that I don't have my dad and the boys to fuss over.

How's this week going for you? I know all the teams are gearing up big time for the challenge to start on Saturday. I'm excited to get at it again too, but then again I never really stop going at it, lol. My week is fairly busy but all good stuff, I just have to remember to take the time I need for me to keep my healthy habits going. Hope you are doing that same friend.
