Hi Happy to share :-) I don't mind tracking but I hate with every fiber of my being counting calories and entering everything. It's a system that works great but it's something I never good stick with. So that's why the nutritionist made me a chart. It's within calorie range for me, it's still tracking and measuring things up but there's no number or anything. I've had this since 2012 and so far I've been able to stick with it and loose some weight and maintain so I'm super thrill with this.

Oh I forgot I have a picture on my page of my nutritional program. That's what I use to track. The nutritionist from the Diabetes Center made it for me, specifically (the carbs are a little higher due to my weight and the need to feel full during the day but still loose between 1 to 2 pounds per week) and each time I track and eat accordingly to this I've lost weight. Some week almost nothing but others 2 to 5 pounds and most months and average of 6 to 10 pounds. Like most people I get tired of tracking sometimes and some days I do eat more than that but if I'd be able to stick to that everyday I'd be golden. I'm suppose to cut the carbs back to a minimum of 3 portions if at some point I stop loosing but so far it hasn't been necessary. for your nice comment on my page. I don't mind sharing my tricks but I'm not sure I did anything really special. I've drank tons of water each day and really cut back on the soda (which are now finished), like one diet soda per day maybe. All my snacks were veggies, fruits or nuts. And I ate balanced meals most of the days ( we ate out 2 times). Actually followed the portions from nutritionist guidelines for diabetes. And that's about it. I haven't work out because I still can't with my back. I understand fluctuating though. Sometimes we do everything and our body does lose the pounds and sometimes we do exactly the same and we gain or stay the same. The only thing I've learn from that since I started my journey in 2012 is to be patient and stick with it. The weight does come off eventually.
I've thought about surgery as well, but I have so many health issues and things to deal with on that front that I've decided to just eat healthy, as healthy as possible anyway and move as much as my body can and let nature follow its course. For sure I don't loose as quickly as if I were to get the surgery but I'm so fragile that there is almost 100% chance that I'd had side effects from it and just the thought it has been keeping me away from that decision. But for sure this journey makes us think and try to find the best solutions for ourselves. I wish you an amazing week full with health and a great loss.
